Welcome to Bambino High School

Whether you’re transitioning from our Primary School or joining us for the first time, Bambino High School welcomes you on a journey toward achieving lasting excellence. Our dedicated and passionate teachers provide a high-quality education that prepares students for internationally recognized qualifications such as IGCSE and A-Levels. But beyond academics, we also focus on helping students excel in every aspect of their lives. This unwavering commitment empowers learners to succeed in whichever path they choose, no matter where in the world they may go.

Through inquiry-based learning, we equip students with the skills to become forward-thinking, accomplished, and confident members of society. Our emphasis on character development fosters future leaders who will use their knowledge and abilities to bring about societal transformation.

Curriculum

Bambino High School’s academic program is built on a core knowledge sequence that provides the foundation for a cohesive curriculum. This approach ensures that students from Secondary Checkpoint (Years 7–9) to IGCSE (Years 10–11), and in AS and A-Levels (Years 12–13) acquire a unified body of knowledge and essential academic skills.

Years 7–9 (Secondary Checkpoint)

Students follow the Cambridge Curriculum studying a broad range of 11 subjects: Mathematics, English, Science, Languages (German and French), Global Perspectives, Geography, History, Commerce, PE, and Character Development. Each year builds on previous knowledge and skills, aiming to create a solid foundation for IGCSE. Students take the Checkpoint Examination in Year 9 and undergo annual progress assessments in English, Mathematics, and Science.

Years 10–11 (IGCSE)

In Year 10, students begin preparing for their IGCSE exams. Core subjects—Mathematics, English, Business Studies, and ICT—are compulsory, while students select additional subjects from a range of 8 options. Guidance is provided to ensure thoughtful choices, with consideration for A-Level or further education. IGCSE examinations are primarily taken at the end of Year 11.

Years 12–13 (AS and A-Levels)

Following IGCSE or MSCE (for students joining from schools offering the MANEB curriculum), students embark on a challenging university-preparatory curriculum at AS and A-Level. Available subjects include Mathematics, English, Geography, Environmental Management, Business Studies, Economics, ICT, and History. Students must achieve at least a C grade or 4 Points in their chosen AS-Level subjects.

Beyond the Classroom

We believe that a truly well-rounded education extends beyond academics. Sports and extracurricular clubs are integral to our program, teaching students essential life skills such as balance, time management, and teamwork. Students who excel in sports have the opportunity to join our competitive school teams, which participate in inter-school and regional leagues

Sports

Our school offers a variety of sporting disciplines, including Football, Netball, Basketball, Rugby, Hockey, Athletics, Volleyball, and Badminton

Clubs

Our clubs go beyond conventional offerings by focusing on practical and creative skills that equip students for real-world challenges and entrepreneurial opportunities

Character Development

We intentionally implement programs that nurture both academic excellence and the development of commendable character grounded in spiritual and moral principles

Sports | Clubs

Our vibrant club program enables students to develop practical, real-world skills that extend beyond their classroom education. Through these clubs, students take on various roles that allow them to contribute meaningfully to school life while exploring potential career paths. For example, students passionate about the performing arts have the opportunity to showcase their talents at school events and productions. Aspiring DJs in the Sound Master Club manage entertainment and sound systems during school functions. Students interested in entrepreneurship are encouraged to manage small business ventures that raise funds for key events such as high school graduations, proms and charity initiatives.

We view these clubs not just as enrichment programs, but as vital platforms where students can discover their passions and develop skills that could lead to future careers. By engaging in sports and clubs, students gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, collaborate with their peers, and make valuable contributions to both the school community and the wider world.

Partnerships and Programs

Bambino High School is proud of its active participation in cultural exchange programs that expand students’ global perspectives. In partnership with organizations like the Goethe-Institut and Nsona Foundation, our students have the opportunity to travel to countries like Germany, South Africa, and Japan for cultural immersion and student exchanges. These programs nurture cross-cultural understanding, leadership, and global awareness, helping students grow into well-rounded global citizens
